IUF

In the first funding period, we investigated  the prevention of environmentally induced diseases at the molecular level. We were dedicated to identify the fundamental mechanisms of toxicity of environmental particulate pollutants and advanced materials in the different organ systems and to prevent of such adverse effects.

In the second funding period, the IUF together with DWI is interested in the evaluation of neurotoxicity and material safety via C. elegans phenotyping using ultrasound induced release of bioactive compounds from polymeric microbubbles.
