ZMT

In the first funding period, we studied the exposure of marine organisms to microplastics and nanoplastics, their physiological responses and incorporation of particles into skeletal carbonate, and the distribution of microplastics in the marine environment.

In the second funding period, ZMT together with ISAS will investigate the impact of nanomaterials on the functionality of marine organisms. Furthermore, ZMT will join forces with INM to study safe, sustainable and degradable sensor materials.
